Extension of a heritage residence, formerly the Auberge Coma, built in 1836. This building has great importance for the municipality because of its location and its history.
The renovation of this house includes interior changes, the addition of three garages, a solarium and a bright interior space. It was essential to respect the ancestral architecture of this building . To do this, the stones of yesteryear were cut on the site with ancestral techniques.
The most important challenge was to integrate garages into a traditional architecture not designed for this purpose as well as to respect the original architectural spirit of the building.
Award of Excellence Town of Hudson, Best Residential Architecture, Heritage (2008)
